Junior High is the cycle in which structures of intelligence, personality and values are strengthened.
At this stage the brain has acquired neurological maturity to start dealing with more complex reasoning and larger abstract formulations. Despite the content being more dense, it is not a mean to an end, but a way to construct the thinking ability as well as language to express students’ opinions. In addition, identity formation, personal values and interpersonal skills are strengthened via interactions with others.
In this intense phase of life, a broad repertoire of readings, research, interdisciplinary projects, study of the environment, sports, cultural and technological activities cooperate for a global development.
